Lesson: books about terrible people make terrible movies about terrible people.

I hated this book and hated the movie even more. I wondered if it was possible to make the movie characters even more unlikable than their book versions, and yes. Yes, it was.

Oh but sweet Jesus there is more. “Stonewall” Jackson on his graduation from the Virginia Military Institute, 1846.

Stonewall could get it. And this makes me wish I was back at UGA and taking 1 of 2 Southern History classes I took.

Hometown/home state pride. Too bad he grew the beard later.

Pleasant Company. Is opening an American Girl Doll Store. In Washington.
We had Kirsten, because we were suckered in by her looks, and only later realized that Molly, with her glasses and dorky plaid, was superior in every way. We are so sorry, Molly.
Now. Can someone please loan us a 9-year-old?

Want to go.

What looks like a plain ol’ waffle is actually a magical maple peanut banana bread waffle.

Banana bread Eggo waffles were my magical breakfast food for years until they stopped making them. I guess I’ll have to do the grown-up thing now and actually make my own instead.

I found my Sticker Book Collection.  For those of you born after 1973, move along. Nothing to see here.

Pretty sure I had about 80% of the exact same ones. Unicorn stickers were always a solid choice. Bonus points if they were also Lisa Frank.
